I actually come from asset management. I worked on the stock exchange. This trading in emission reduction certificates is what they call “over-the-counter trading,” which means it doesn’t happen via a screen, but actually takes place between people. I actually found that quite interesting. I thought: that can’t be effective.
So I started reading more about it. I discovered that a new law is coming into effect on January 1, 2026, and I thought: that is a great opportunity. And so that is how it happened.

I notice that there are a lot of rules that people are unaware of, but to which they are entitled. I believe that this needs to be communicated better and that we should service people in this regard. That is why we want to make it as easy as possible for people with LekkerLaden.
