What is Achmea Impact Ventures?

We’re a venture studio. That means we don’t just invest, we build with you. You bring the vision. We put a team of experts behind it that jumps in exactly when you need them: on product, tech, research, marketing, or legal and more. No fixed programme, no cohort. Just what your venture actually needs.

This is not an office space or a pitch deck clinic. This is full-time startup building.

What you’ll do

You’ll take your idea from sketch to spin-out:

• Validate the problem with our researchers — data decides, not gut feeling
• Shape the product vision and business model
• Build your MVP with our internal product and tech team
• Test with early users and iterate
• Attract first paying customers and build traction
• Build your own team to take it further post-spinout

What We’re Looking For

You:

• Have a clear idea and have taken initial steps to validate it (e.g. user discovery, mockups, expert interviews, or simply talking to your target group)
• Have founded, led, designed, or launched digital products or services before — or played a key role in an early-stage team
• Want to build a real, scalable business, not just a passion project
• Deeply understand the problem you’re solving — not just the tech or trend
• Are open to shaping the team, product, and business model with us
• Are ready to commit full-time (freelance contract with compensation)

Your idea must fit one of our domains:

• Health & Wellbeing

• Healthy Finances (non-insurance only)

We don’t build:

• ❌ Hardware or physical products
• ❌ Science-based tech, crypto, or medtech
• ❌ Solutions reliant on 3rd-party IP or systemic policy change
• ❌ Tools for Achmea alone
• ❌ Prevention-only or single-use concepts
• ❌ Vague behavioural ideas without a clear business model
