What is the path you have been on with Prepped?

We went from a Google Calendar add-on to a local-first macOS app. We originally focused on helping people prepare for meetings. But conversations with users kept pointing to something else. The real friction starts after the meeting. Follow-ups. Decisions. Alignment. That rang a bell.

What made you change direction?

Insights from research. Most transcription tools optimize for speed. Very few optimize for trust.
Cloud processing. Unclear data paths. Sensitive conversations leaving your control. Together with Achmea Impact Ventures, Prepped was built from the ground up.

What is Prepped Transcribe?

A fully local, macOS transcription and meeting notes app. It runs entirely on your Mac. There are no bots, no cloud. You decide where your data lives. This is just the start. We constantly develop new features to make it better!
