Roosti

Roosti is a digital platform designed for private teachers, music tutors, and freelance educators. These are the individuals who help kids learn piano after school, improve their math grades, or develop their language skills. Roosti is for helping them organize their scheduling, invoicing, and communication. It’s not that teachers can’t do it—it’s just that no one ever taught them how.

My father was a musician. My wife is a piano teacher. I’ve seen it firsthand—this gap in their workflow where the admin just eats up their time. Watching them manually write invoices, send BCC emails, and chase overdue payments led me to ask: isn’t there a better way?

I calculated that a single teacher using Roosti could save around one hour per student per year. Multiply that by 30, 40, even 50 students—and you’re looking at dozens of hours regained annually. We want to give tens of thousands of hours back to this community.

I’m here because I want to build tools that actually help people. At this stage in my life, I’m interested in purpose-driven work. Tools like Roosti make a real difference for people who do quiet, important work. I love creating things that are useful. I want to solve real-world problems.
